Bentonite has the great expansibility under water and a good colloidal nature properties.It can increase the viscosity of suspension in the drilling mud when used.Increasing the lubrication of drilling and cleaning produces in the process of drilling cuttings, it is widely used to complex geological structure formation drilling construction, to prevent hole-accidents. Bentonite application 

Drilling bentonite: Bentonite is the main material of the preparation of slurry. It has the effection of protecting sidewall, upward returing cuttings, cooling and lubricating the bits.  

Foundry bentonite: Bentonite is used in agglomerant and lithium bentonite is used in quick-drying coating.

Iron core pelletizing bentonite:  It can improve the production capacity by adding 1-2% sodium bentonite in the refined iron-mineral powders. It is widely used in steel mills.

Coating bentonite:Bentonite is used as suspending agent in various coating. It can improve the suspension, adhesion, brushing property and water resistance of the coating.
